The Hydraforce 5069228 (5069228) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This versatile component is engineered to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in systems that demand low internal leakage. When de-energized, the SV16-21 poppet opens the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. Upon energization, the valve closes the port 2 to port 1 flow path and acts as a check valve that permits flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force is overcome, requiring pressure between 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
