The Hydraforce 5069199V (5069199V) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. When de-energized, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while flow from port 1 to port 2 remains restricted. Upon energization, the flow path from port 2 to port 1 is closed, allowing the valve to act as a check valve with flow passing from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force of between 50 and 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
