In its de-energized state, the SV16-22 operates as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 while obstructing flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to enable the flow path from port 2 to port 1 and allows flow from port 1 to port 2.
