The Hydraforce 5069017 (5069017) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is expertly designed to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in applications that demand low internal leakage. In its de-energized state, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. When energized, the flow path from port 2 to port 1 is closed, and the valve acts as a check valve allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force of 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
