The Hydraforce 5062138 (5062138) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally closed, poppet-type, proportional, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This high-performance valve is specifically engineered for low leakage blocking and load-holding applications. In its default state when de-energized, the SP16-20 functions as a check valve that permits flow from port 1 to port 2 while obstructing flow in the reverse direction from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet mechanism lifts to facilitate the flow path from port 2 to port 1; however, in this energized mode, the flow from port 1 to port 2 becomes significantly restricted.
