The Hydraforce 5061861 (5061861) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in applications that require low internal leakage. In its default de-energized state, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted. When the valve is energized, it closes the flow path from port 2 to port 1 and acts as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 only after overcoming the solenoid force of between 50 and 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
