The Hydraforce 5061853 (5061853) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is engineered to function effectively as a load-holding or blocking valve in applications that demand low internal leakage. When de-energized, the SV16-21 model allows the poppet to lift, opening the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. Conversely, when energized, it closes the port 2 to port 1 flow path and acts as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 only after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
