The Hydraforce 5061844 (5061844) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This specific model is engineered to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in applications that require low internal leakage. In its de-energized state, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. When energized, it closes the flow path from port 2 to port 1 and acts as a check valve, allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force, which requires between 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
