The Hydraforce 5061841 (5061841) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is expertly designed to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in applications that require low internal leakage. When de-energized, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted. Upon energization, the flow path from port 2 to port 1 is closed, allowing the valve to act as a check valve that permits flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force of approximately 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar). This valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat for extended life and minimal leakage.
