The Hydraforce 5061715 (5061715) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. In its de-energized state, the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while flow from port 1 to port 2 remains severely restricted. When the valve is energized, it closes the flow path from port 2 to port 1 and functions as a check valve, allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 only after overcoming the solenoid force of approximately 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
