The Hydraforce 5061075 (5061075) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. In its default state (de-energized), the SV16-21 poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 2 to port 1, while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. When energized, this flow path is closed, and the valve acts as a check valve allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force of 50 to 100 psi (3.4 to 6.9 bar).
