The Hydraforce 5060059 (5060059) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in various applications that demand low internal leakage. The operation of this model is straightforward: when de-energized, the SV poppet lifts to open the port-to-port flow path while severely restricting flow from port 1 to port 2. Conversely, when energized, the flow path from port 1 to port 2 is closed, allowing the valve to act as a check valve and permitting flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 5 to 25 psi (0.3 to 1.7 bar).
