The Hydraforce 5049256 (5049256) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in systems requiring low internal leakage. Its operation is straightforward: when de-energized, the SVX model allows bidirectional flow between ports. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes to block flow from port 1 to port 2. Additionally, it permits free reverse flow from port 2 to port 1 once the solenoid force is overcome, which requires between 5 to 25 psi (0.3 to 1.7 bar).
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensure both longevity and minimal leakage under demanding conditions. The valve's efficient wet-armature construction and unitized, molded coil design enhance its reliability and performance. For versatility in application and installation, the cartridges are voltage interchangeable with optional coil voltages and terminations available. Moreover, it includes a manual override option for increased operational flexibility.
For environments requiring robust durability, there is an optional waterproof E-Coils feature rated up to IP69K standard ensuring protection against ingress of dust and high-temperature high-pressure water jets. This makes the Hydraforce 5049256 an excellent choice for applications needing precise control with dependable performance in harsh conditions.
