The Hydraforce 5049154 (5049154) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is designed primarily to function as a load holding or blocking valve in systems that necessitate minimal internal leakage. In its default state when de-energized, the SV facilitates flow from port 1 to port 2, while restricting the flow from port 2 to port 1 significantly. Upon activation, the valve's poppet seals against its seat effectively blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 and acts similarly to a check valve allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid force.
This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures durability and maintains low leakage over the lifespan of the valve. It is crafted with an efficient wet-armature construction and offers optional coil voltages and terminations for versatility in application. The cartridges are voltage interchangeable which enhances adaptability across different systems. Moreover, it includes a unitized, molded coil design and offers a manual override option for increased operational flexibility.
Additional features include optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K providing robust protection against dust and water ingress under severe conditions. The cost-effective cavity design of this model makes it an economical choice for various hydraulic applications without compromising on quality or performance.
