The Hydraforce 5049060 (5049060) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally open, poppet-type screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This product is designed primarily to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in systems where low internal leakage is critical. In its default state when de-energized, the SV model allows fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while significantly restricting flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes against its seat effectively blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 and acting as a check valve that permits flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid's force.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensure long life and minimal leakage. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations to accommodate diverse operational requirements and environments. The efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance while being interchangeable across various voltages. The unitized, molded coil design supports robust operation with an optional manual override feature available for enhanced control. Additionally, it can be fitted with optional waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for high-degree protection against ingress of dust and water, making it suitable for harsh environments. The Hydraforce 5049060 also boasts a cost-effective cavity design that simplifies installation and maintenance procedures.
