The Hydraforce 5049022V (5049022V) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to operate as a load holding or blocking valve in systems where low internal leakage is critical. The operation of the 5049022V allows for bidirectional flow when de-energized. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet closes to block flow from port 1 to port 2. Additionally, it permits free reverse flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid force, which requires between 15 to 20 psi (100 to 138 bar).
This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and maintains low leakage levels. Its efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance while the unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robustness and reliability in various applications.
