The Hydraforce 5044005 (5044005) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally closed, poppet-type, proportional, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed for low leakage blocking and load-holding applications. Its operational design allows it to function as a check valve when de-energized, facilitating flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open the pathway from port 2 to port 1. The model features a continuous-duty rated coil and efficient wet-armature construction which enhances its reliability and performance under continuous operational conditions. Additionally, it includes a manual override option which provides an alternative control method in various scenarios. The optional waterproof E-Coils are rated up to IP69K, ensuring protection against ingress of dust and high-temperature high-pressure water jets. This valve also offers a metering option for precise control of fluid flow and utilizes an industry common cavity which facilitates ease of installation and compatibility with existing systems.
