The Hydraforce 5040142V (5040142V) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. Designed primarily to function as a load holding or blocking valve, this model is especially suited for applications that demand minimal internal leakage. When de-energized, the 5040142V acts efficiently as a check valve by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 while preventing reverse flow. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open the flow path from port 1 to port 2; however, in this state, flow from port 2 to port 1 is significantly restricted. This valve features an integral position sensor that provides real-time feedback on whether the valve has shifted positions.
