The Hydraforce 5040136 (5040136) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in various applications, particularly where low internal leakage is crucial. In its default state when de-energized, the SV model acts as a check valve, permitting fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while effectively blocking flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open the pathway from port 1 to port 2 for fluid flow. Additionally, this configuration allows for flow from port 2 to port 1.
Key features of the Hydraforce 5040136 include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensure long life and minimal leakage. The valve offers optional coil voltages and terminations to suit diverse operational requirements and features efficient wet-armature construction. The cartridges provided are voltage interchangeable which enhances flexibility in usage. Its unitized, molded coil design aids in robust performance while an optional manual override enhances operational control. For environments requiring heightened durability against moisture ingress, optional waterproof E-Coils are available which are rated up to IP69K. Moreover, this model is designed within a cost-effective cavity which makes it an economical choice for hydraulic systems requiring reliable load holding capabilities.
