The Hydraforce 5040001 (5040001) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in applications that demand low internal leakage. The operation of this valve is dual-mode; when de-energized, the SVX model acts as a check valve allowing flow to pass from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the poppet lifts, altering the flow path from port 1 to port 2 and significantly restricting flow from port 2 to port 1.
This valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that together enhance its lifespan and minimize leakage. It boasts efficient wet-armature construction and interchangeable voltage cartridges which add to its versatility in various hydraulic setups. The unitized, molded coil design improves durability and performance reliability. Additionally, it offers optional coil voltages and terminations to suit different electrical requirements.
The Hydraforce 5040001 also provides optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for enhanced protection against ingress of dust and water, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. A manual override option is available for situations where manual control is necessary. Its cost-effective cavity design further makes it an economical choice for many hydraulic systems requiring dependable load-holding capabilities.
