The Hydraforce 5040000P (5040000P) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in various applications where low internal leakage is crucial. The operation of this valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the SVX model acts as a check valve allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the poppet lifts, altering the flow path from port 1 to port 2 but with restricted flow from port 2 to port 1. This model boasts several features enhancing its functionality and longevity. It includes a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage. The efficient wet-armature construction contributes to its reliable performance under varying operational conditions. Moreover, the cartridges are voltage interchangeable which adds flexibility in usage across different systems with varying voltage requirements. Additionally, the unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and performance consistency. For environments requiring robust performance against moisture ingress, there are optional waterproof E-Coils available that are rated up to IP67K. Also noteworthy is its manual override option which provides an additional layer of operational control. This model also fits into a cost-effective cavity making it an economical choice for hydraulic system designers seeking quality and reliability without excessive cost.
