The Hydraforce 5029729 (5029729) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It features standard SV and manual override MO options. The valve primarily functions as a blocking or load-holding device suited for low flow circuits that require pull-only manual override for handles or cable linkage. In its default state when de-energized, the SVX model acts as a check valve, permitting fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the valve's poppet lifts to open up the flow path from port 1 to port 2, whereas the flow from port 2 to port 1 is considerably restricted.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage. The unit offers optional coil voltages and terminations for versatility in application. Its efficient wet-armature construction alongside voltage interchangeable cartridges adds to its robust design and functionality. Moreover, the unitized, molded coil design enhances durability and performance reliability. For environments requiring enhanced protection against moisture, optional waterproof E-Coils are available that are rated up to IP69K. Additionally, this model boasts an industry-common cavity which simplifies installation processes across various systems and an optional position sensor for improved operational accuracy.
