The Hydraforce 5029553 (5029553) is a solenoid-operated, 3-way, normally closed, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve designed for use in low flow circuits. This valve functions as a blocking or load-holding device and features a manual override option that is suitable for applications requiring pull-only manual override for handles or cable linkage. In its default state when de-energized, the 5029553 acts like a check valve, allowing hydraulic fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet lifts, opening the flow path from port 1 to port 2 and simultaneously restricting flow in the opposite direction.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage. The efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance while its cartridges are designed to be voltage interchangeable. The unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robustness.
