The operation of this valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the SV1020X functions as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 and blocking flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet lifts to enable flow from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting flow in the opposite direction.
