The Hydraforce 5022015 (5022015) is a high-performance solenoid operated, direct acting, 3 position, 4-way, closed center spool, proportional directional control valve. This hydraulic cartridge valve is specifically designed for use with general purpose hydraulic fluids. It features a robust design including a hardened precision spool and cage which ensures longevity and reliability in various applications.
Operationally, the SP1047CX model exhibits versatile flow control; when de-energized, it blocks flow to all ports. Energizing coil 1 allows flow from port 3 to port 4 and from port 2 to port 1. Similarly, activating coil 2 permits flow from port 3 to port 2 and from port 4 to port 1. Notably, while port 1 can be fully pressurized, it should not be used as the valve’s inlet.
This model is equipped with continuous-duty rated solenoids and offers optional features such as different coil voltages and terminations to suit varied operational requirements. The manual override option enhances usability in manual control scenarios. Additionally, the optional waterproof E-Coils are rated up to IP69K, making them suitable for environments requiring rigorous water resistance.
The efficient wet-armature construction of the cartridges ensures their interchangeability across different voltages without compromising performance. The valve's good linearity and hysteresis characteristics make it an ideal choice for precise fluid control in systems requiring a reliable performance with an industry-common cavity configuration.
