The Hydraforce 5021673 (5021673) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing fluid flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, with flow from port 1 to port 2 being severely restricted under this condition. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes against its seat effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. To enable flow from port 1 to port 2 when the valve is energized, a pressure of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is required to overcome the solenoid force.
