The Hydraforce 5021646 (5021646) is a high-performance hydraulic cartridge valve specifically engineered for low leakage in load-holding applications. This solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open valve is designed to function efficiently within hydraulic systems. In its default state when de-energized, the SV1021 model allows fluid flow from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting flow in the opposite direction. Upon activation, the valve's poppet closes firmly against its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1. For reverse flow from port 1 to port 2, the system must overcome a solenoid force ranging between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
Key features of this valve include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures durability and minimal leakage over time. The valve offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations and features efficient wet-armature construction. The cartridges are designed to be voltage interchangeable and come with a unitized, molded coil design that enhances reliability and performance. An optional manual override provides additional operational control. For environments requiring robust protection against dust and water ingress, there are optional waterproof E-Coils available that are rated up to IP69K. Additionally, this model utilizes an industry common cavity which facilitates standardization and interchangeability across various hydraulic systems.
