The Hydraforce 5021633 (5021633) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve, specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve functions by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under these conditions. Upon energization, the valve's poppet seals against its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1. For reverse flow from port 1 to port 2 to occur when the valve is energized, a pressure of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is required to overcome the solenoid force.
