The Hydraforce 5021625 (5021625) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely restricted under these conditions. When the valve is energized, the poppet closes tightly on its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1. For flow from port 1 to port 2 to occur in this mode, the solenoid force of between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) must be overcome.
