The Hydraforce 5021618 (5021618) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve tailored for optimal performance in load-holding applications. This valve is designed to allow bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. Upon energization, the poppet closes to block the flow from port 2 to port 1, while still permitting free reverse flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome.
