The Hydraforce 5021610 (5021610) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed specifically for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet closes, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 while still permitting free reverse flow from port 1 to port 2 once the solenoid force of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome.
