The Hydraforce 5021480 (5021480) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve that excels in low leakage load-holding applications. This valve is designed to allow bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. Upon energization, the poppet closes effectively blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1 while still permitting free reverse flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
