The Hydraforce 5021425 (5021425) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve optimized for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing fluid flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, while severely restricting flow in the opposite direction. When energized, the valve's poppet closes against its seat to block flow from port 2 to port 1 completely. To initiate flow from port 1 to port 2 when the valve is energized, a pressure of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is required to overcome the solenoid force.
The model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that enhances its longevity and maintains low leakage levels. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations tailored for various system requirements. Its efficient wet-armature construction along with voltage interchangeable cartridges adds versatility and ease of use in different setups. The unitized, molded coil design ensures robust performance and reliability.
Additionally, the Hydraforce 5021425 includes a manual override option which provides an added layer of operational security and convenience. For environments requiring enhanced protection against moisture and dust, optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K are available. This model also fits an industry common cavity which facilitates easier installation and maintenance across diverse hydraulic systems.
