The Hydraforce 5021104 (5021104) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under these conditions. Once energized, the valve's poppet closes firmly on its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. To enable flow from port 1 to port 2 when the valve is active, a pressure ranging between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is required to overcome the solenoid force. This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures both longevity and minimal leakage. It is designed with efficient wet-armature construction and offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations. The cartridges are voltage interchangeable and come with a unitized, molded coil design. For enhanced operational convenience, there is a manual override option available.
