The Hydraforce 5021008P (5021008P) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve tailored for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes against its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. To enable flow from port 1 to port 2 when the valve is energized, a pressure range of 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) must be overcome.
