The Hydraforce 5020502V (5020502V) is a solenoid-operated, 2-port, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in systems that require low internal leakage. The operation of the valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the SV10P22AX configuration allows it to act as a check valve, permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 and blocking flow in the reverse direction. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open the pathway from port 2 to port 1, while also allowing flow from port 1 to port 2. This model features an integral position sensor that indicates when the valve has shifted positions.
