The Hydraforce 5020421N (5020421N) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for precise control in hydraulic systems. This model is particularly suited for use as a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits that require pull-only manual override capabilities for handles or cable linkage. The valve operates by allowing flow from port 1 to port 2 when de-energized, acting as a check valve and effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. When energized, the valve's poppet lifts to reverse the flow path from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting flow in the opposite direction.
This model includes several notable features such as a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensure long life and minimal leakage.
