The Hydraforce 5020178 (5020178) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. Designed for use in low flow circuits, this model is particularly suitable as a blocking or load-holding device. It features a screw-in design with standard SV1020 and manual override MO options, catering to applications requiring pull-only manual override for handles or cable linkage. In its default state when de-energized, the SV1020X functions as a check valve that permits flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the valve's poppet lifts to facilitate flow from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting the reverse flow.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures long life and minimal leakage.
