The Hydraforce 5020169 (5020169) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve designed for use in low flow circuits. This screw-in valve is particularly suited as a blocking or load-holding device and features a pull-only manual override, making it ideal for applications requiring handles or cable linkage control. The operation of the valve allows for flow from port 1 to port 2 when de-energized, acting like a check valve. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet lifts to facilitate flow from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting the reverse flow.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensures long life and minimal leakage. The efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance while various coil voltages and terminations are available to suit different operational needs.
