The Hydraforce 5020080 (5020080) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for precise control in hydraulic systems. This valve features a standard SV1020 and manual override (MO) options, making it suitable for applications requiring a blocking or load-holding device in low flow circuits. The manual override is specifically designed for pull-only requirements compatible with handles or cable linkage.
Operationally, the 5020080 functions as a check valve when de-energized, allowing fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the valve’s poppet lifts to permit flow from port 2 to port 1 while severely restricting the flow in the opposite direction. This capability ensures effective control over fluid handling and direction within the system.
The valve is noted for its continuous-duty rated coil and hardened seat which contribute to its long life and minimal leakage. It offers optional coil voltages and terminations to accommodate different electrical requirements and efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance. The cartridges are voltage interchangeable which adds flexibility in system design.
