The Hydraforce 5020048 (5020048) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve designed for precise control in hydraulic systems. It features a standard SV1020 and manual override MO options, making it versatile for applications requiring a blocking or load-holding device. The valve operates as a check valve when de-energized, allowing fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow. Upon energization, the valve's poppet lifts to permit flow from port 2 to port 1 while restricting the opposite direction.
Notable for its continuous-duty rated coil and hardened seat, the 5020048 ensures longevity and minimal leakage under demanding conditions. Its efficient wet-armature construction enhances its performance further. The unitized, molded coil design supports various coil voltages and terminations, increasing adaptability across different electrical systems. Additionally, it offers an optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K for superior protection against ingress of dust and high-temperature high-pressure water jets.
This valve is also designed with an industry-common cavity which simplifies installation processes and ensures compatibility with existing systems. An optional position sensor enhances functionality by providing real-time feedback on the valve status, crucial for automated or remotely monitored systems. The manual override feature is particularly useful in scenarios where manual intervention is necessary due to system automation failures or during maintenance activities.
