It operates primarily as a blocking or load-holding device. When de-energized, the model functions as a check valve, permitting fluid flow from port 1 to port 2 and preventing reverse flow. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to enable flow from port 2 to port 1 while significantly restricting the opposite direction.
