The Hydraforce 5011137 (5011137) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally closed, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. It is designed primarily for low leakage blocking and load holding applications in hydraulic systems. The operation of the valve is straightforward: when de-energized, the SV0822 model functions as a check valve, allowing fluid to flow from port 1 to port 2 while blocking the reverse flow from port 2 to port 1. Upon energization, the poppet lifts to open up the flow path from port 2 to port 1, permitting bidirectional flow.
This valve is distinguished by several key features that enhance its performance and utility. It has a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat which ensure long life and minimal leakage. The design accommodates optional coil voltages and terminations, providing flexibility for different electrical requirements. Furthermore, cartridges are voltage interchangeable which simplifies management and replacement of parts. The unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robustness and durability.
Additional options include manual overrides and waterproof E-Coils that are rated up to IP69K for high-degree protection against ingress of dust and water, making it suitable for harsh environments. Its industry-common cavity allows for compatibility with standard cavities in the market, ensuring easy installation and replacement. The compact size of this valve makes it ideal for applications where space is at a premium yet high performance is required.
