The Hydraforce 5011090 (5011090) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet type screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve tailored for low leakage in load-holding applications. This valve is particularly designed to allow flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. Conversely, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under the same conditions. When the valve is energized, its poppet closes firmly onto its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1. The reverse flow from port 1 to port 2 becomes possible only after overcoming the solenoid force.
This model features a continuous-duty rated coil and a hardened seat that ensures longevity and maintains minimal leakage over time. It offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations, making it adaptable for various operational requirements. The cartridges are voltage interchangeable which enhances their versatility in different system configurations.
Additionally, the unitized, molded coil design contributes to its robustness and reliability in demanding environments. A manual override option is available for situations requiring manual operation of the valve. For enhanced environmental protection, optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K are available, safeguarding the component against ingress of dust and high temperature high-pressure water jets. Its industry common cavity allows for easy integration or replacement in standardized systems, while its compact size facilitates installation in space-constrained applications.
