The Hydraforce 5011070 (5011070) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve specifically designed for low leakage in higher pressure load-holding applications. This advanced valve operates by allowing flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is severely restricted under these conditions. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes firmly on its seat, effectively blocking the flow from port 2 to port 1 and only permitting flow from port 1 to port 2 after overcoming a solenoid force that requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
Noteworthy features of the Hydraforce 5011070 include a continuous-duty rated coil and corrosion-resistant plating which ensure durability and reliability in various operating conditions. The hardened seat enhances its lifespan while maintaining low leakage levels crucial for efficient performance. The valve also offers flexibility with optional coil voltages and terminations; cartridges are voltage interchangeable which adds versatility for different system requirements. Additionally, it features a unitized, molded coil design along with a manual override option which increases operational control.
For enhanced functionality in challenging environments, optional waterproof E-Coils are available that are rated up to IP69K. Its industry-common compact size allows for easier integration into existing systems without requiring extensive modifications or additional space.
