The Hydraforce 5011029 (5011029) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type, normally open, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed for low leakage in high-pressure load-holding applications. The operation of the valve is characterized by its ability to allow flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized; however, flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted under this condition. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes against its seat effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 while allowing flow in the reverse direction after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
