The Hydraforce 5010994 (5010994) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, piloted, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve that excels in low leakage and high-pressure load-holding applications. The valve operates as normally open and features a design that allows for flow from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized. In this state, the flow from port 1 to port 2 is significantly restricted. Upon energization, the valve's poppet closes firmly against its seat, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 and allowing flow in the opposite direction once the solenoid force of between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) is overcome.
Key features of this model include a continuous-duty rated coil and corrosion-resistant plating which ensure durability and longevity even under harsh conditions. The valve seat is hardened to minimize leakage over its lifespan. Additionally, it offers flexibility in terms of customization with optional coil voltages and terminations available. The cartridges are designed to be voltage interchangeable which enhances adaptability across different systems setups.
For ease of maintenance and operational control, it includes a manual override option. For environments requiring robust protection against water ingress, there are optional waterproof E-Coils rated up to IP69K available, ensuring performance integrity in wet conditions. This model maintains an industry-standard compact size which facilitates easy integration into various hydraulic systems without requiring extensive modifications.
