The Hydraforce 5010833 (5010833) is a high-performance, solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to serve as a load holding or blocking valve in systems that demand minimal internal leakage at high pressures. The unique construction of the 5010833 allows for low leakage performance and durability, thanks to its hardened seat. It operates by lifting the SF0823 poppet to open from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, permitting flow in both directions between these ports. Upon energization, it functions as a check valve, blocking flow from port 2 to port 1, requiring a solenoid force of between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar) to overcome.
The valve features a continuous-duty rated coil and offers optional coil voltages and terminations for versatility in various applications. The cartridges are interchangeable with respect to voltage, which enhances adaptability across different systems setups.
