The Hydraforce 5010819 (5010819) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is particularly designed to function as a load-holding or blocking valve in various applications that require low internal leakage at high pressures. Its operational mechanism includes a poppet that lifts to open from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, allowing flow also from port 1 to port 2. Conversely, when energized, the cartridge acts as a check valve, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
