The Hydraforce 5010804 (5010804) is a solenoid-operated, 2-way, normally open, poppet-type, screw-in hydraulic cartridge valve. This valve is specifically designed to function as a load holding or blocking valve in systems that require minimal internal leakage at high pressures. The model 5010804 operates by lifting the SF0823 poppet to open from port 2 to port 1 when de-energized, allowing flow in both directions between these ports. Upon energization, it acts as a check valve, effectively blocking flow from port 2 to port 1 after overcoming the solenoid force which requires between 50 to 150 psi (3.4 to 10.3 bar).
